ABOUT

Dr. Wanda Bolton-Davis

Speaker | Teacher | Author | Discipleship Trainer/Coach

Even as a young child, Wanda had a sensitive heart for God. She accepted Christ at the tender age of 12. She grew up in a Christian home, which laid the foundation for her continued personal relationship with the Lord.

A native of Champaign-Urbana, IL, Wanda left her parent’s home, married and moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in 1983. She was intentional about her personal spiritual growth while she diligently served  in ministry alongside her husband. When her 35-year marriage ended in divorce, Wanda thought her ministry was over. However, through God’s love and grace, Wanda learned that God would use her brokenness to minister more deeply to the brokenhearted.

Wanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School of Allied Health in Dallas, TX. She obtained a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, TX.

She worked as an Adoption Social Worker for several years, greatly impacting the lives of many children and families.

In 2000, unbeknown to her, Wanda began her academic preparation for ministry. Seeking only to quench her thirst for a deeper knowledge of God’s word, she attended, was named Minister of the Year, and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from G. W. Truett Theological Seminary, in Waco, TX, in 2005.

Later, desiring to be better equipped for ministry, Wanda went on to earn a Doctorate in Ministry degree in 2015, from Talbot School of Theology in LaMirada, CA, with a focus in Discipleship.

With over 25 years of ministry experience, as a published author, counselor, and discipleship expert, Wanda has discipled thousands, and provides discipleship training and leadership development across the country. She is the proud mother of three grown children, has a wonderful son-in-love, and one grandchild.
